The most exciting sailing in North America! Four days of sailing/sailing instruction on world-renowned San Francisco Bay during the prime summer season. Take the helm with the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco skyline as backdrops on this adventure and skill-building experience.

The course will include instruction by some of the most experienced instructors in North America. If you're already an experienced sailor, you will be grouped with other sailors with similar experience, sailing aboard J-105s.  The J-105 is the most successful one-design keelboat class over 30' in the USA.  You're sure to “up your game” with performance tips by San Francisco Bay racing instructors.

New to sailing, and just want to experience the joys of sailing San Francisco Bay on a small boat? Join us for an intro to sailing, learn the basics of handling and crewing a small sailboat. Relax and enjoy the ride! Your cruising ground will be one of the most fantastic places on Earth to sail... you are virtually guaranteed fantastic winds and ideal sailing conditions.

In addition to an introduction to San Francisco Bay Sailing, the course will include:

  • Ocean Survival and rescue, including life raft deployment in the bay
  • US Coast Guard Rescue presentation
  • Daily lectures on Wilderness and Marine Medicine including immersion hypothermia, designing the marine medical kit, marine envenomations and hazards, dive injuries, preparing for foreign travel, and much more!
