This Wilderness Medicine CME adventure begins in the alpine town of Cortina d’Ampezzo, where a warm welcome and towering peaks set the tone for an unforgettable journey. Early highlights include the legendary Tre Cime di Lavaredo, peaceful forest climbs, and wide ridgelines that open into sweeping views of the valley. With expert local guides and charming hotels throughout, every day blends natural beauty with comfort and ease.
As the trip unfolds, the terrain becomes even more spectacular. We'll explore the historic trenches of Cinque Torri, traverse the vast Puez–Odle plateau, and circle the dramatic Sassolungo massif along the scenic Friedrich August trail. Each hike reveals a new side of the Dolomites, from turquoise alpine lakes to rugged rock spires rising straight out of the meadows.
The final days bring some of the most memorable moments, including the famous Viel del Pan trail with its unmatched views of Marmolada, the highest peak in the Dolomites. This historic balcony path ties together everything that makes the region extraordinary: grand scenery, rich history, and a feeling of pure alpine magic. Thoughtfully designed and filled with bucket-list highlights, this journey truly stands out as a trip of a lifetime.
